The Vancouver Island Health Authority ("Island Health") is seeking Tenders from qualified General Contractors to complete two bundled construction projects at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, located at 1200 Dufferin Crescent, Nanaimo, British Columbia, including replacement of operating room booms and lights in ORs 2-9 and creation of a negative pressure operating room with new anteroom serving OR 1. The projects will be procured through a single tender process. Island Health intends to award both projects to a single General Contractor and execute one CCDC 2 (2020) Stipulated Price Contract encompassing both projects. Work in ORs 2 and 3 is scheduled to commence during the Christmas shutdown beginning December 18, 2026.
