Island Health has issued this Request for Proposals for the purpose of inviting proposals from consultant firms to undertake services and construction as outlined in this RFP for the Project as described in Project Overview in the RFP. This project will take place at West Coast General Hospital located at: 3949 Port Alberni Highway, Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 4S1. WCGH was constructed in 1999 and consists of two main areas: The Acute Care Facility with approximately 52 patient beds, emergency, ambulatory care, operating rooms, etc., and Westhaven Multi-Level Care (MLC): a long-term senior care facility.
