This Request for Tender is being issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (“Island Health”) as it is seeking tenders from qualified Respondents to complete the asphalt repairs at the Victoria General Hospital (VGH), 1 Hospital Way, Victoria, BC V8Z 6R5 (“the Project.”). Various locations in the VGH parking lot need asphalt patching/ repair. This Tender is to remedy the asphalt locations identified by parking services of approximately 2,874 square meters. Road/ parking lot painting, asphalt milling and disposal of asphalt are to be included in this scope of work. There will be an alternative rate established for the subgrade/ subbase repair. The alternative rate will be based on an area of 25% of the paving area or approximately 718.5 square meters. Island Health has a priority of Area #6, then #1 then #2. The project will be constructed to the budget and as such all identified areas may not be repaired or receive equal treatments as determined by Island Health.  

Island Health prefers contractor to achieve ready-for-takeover prior to asphalt plant shutdown in the fall of 2024.
